Apple Cider Vinegar Fanatic

Filed under: Organic — Tara @ 9:22 pm

For those of you who know me and those who do not, I am a self-proclaimed apple cider vinegar(ACV) fanatic. I do not have any medical training, so this is only MY OPINION. I am a big fan of home remedies and I thought I would share.

Apple cider vinegar is a completely natural product that is made from fermenting apple juice into hard apple cider and then another fermentation into apple cider vinegar.  The product retains all of the natural benifits of apples with added acids and enzymes.  ACV  has been used for home remedies and health benefits since 400BC.

It can be given to pets to deter insects or to relieve skin irritation.

One major advantage of apple cider vinegar is weight loss. (I repeat, I have no medical training. Please do your own research and contact your personal doctor before going on a weight loss regimine)

ACV makes a great non-toxic household cleaner, deodorizer, and disinfectant.

ACV can be used to cure numerous infections, i.e. sinus, bladder, UTI, etc.

My favorite brand is Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. Here is a link to the Bragg site http://bragg.com/products/acv.html

According to the Bragg website, apple cider vinegar has the following health benefits:

Internal Benefits:  rich in enzymes and potassium, supports a healthy immune system, helps control weight, promotes digestion and pH balance, helps soothe dry throats, helps remove body sludge toxins

External Benefits: healps maintain healthy skin, helps promote youthful healthy bodies, soothes irritated skin, relieves muscle pain from exercise

Hope this information is useful.

Stay healthy,

Tara
