Tuesday’s Teaspoon

St. Patrick’s Day is tomorrow! The holiday is celebrated by Irish, Catholics, and Orthodox Christians in remembrance of the patron saint, St. Patrick. Did know you know that the color blue(not green) was originally associated with St. Patrick? Or that March 17, 461AD is the day that St. Patrick died? Did you know that the longest-running St. Patrick’s Day parade in Canada is in Montreal and has been held in continuity since 1824?

If you want to know more about this holiday than just green beer and pinching, check out wikipedia’s article on St. Patrick’s Day.
